WeldWerks Brewing Double Chocolate Medianoche 2021 Stout - 50 CL

This particular lot of Medianoche barrels, aged for 24 months in 5-6 year old high rye MGP bourbon barrels, exhibited such rich, complex chocolate character that they begged for a huge infusion of even truer chocolate. So the brewers teamed up with one of our favorite chocolate makers in Colorado and conditioned the finished beer on Belizean, Guatemalan and Mexican cocoa beans from Cultura Chocolate in Denver. To further accentuate the chocolate character, the brewers used just a hint of Congo vanilla beans, allowing the resulting blend to express notes of milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate mousse, brownie batter and cocoa-dusted truffles.
