The very first beer that Brouwerij 't IJ brewed in 1985. It is a 'tripel', the category reserved for the stronger, blonde beers in the Belgian tradition. Zatte more than lives up to expectations in this area. It is a full, golden beer with the smell of fresh fruit mixed here and there with a hint of grain. The taste is slightly sweet and ends with a fine, dry aftertaste. A delicious beer that you can enjoy in all seasons.
