La Trappe Nillis is a dark, amber-colored Trappist beer with an off-white foam head. The accessible non-alcoholic Trappist beer has a pleasant bitterness and a round malty, caramel-sweet aftertaste. The smell of malt and caramel flows together with the fresh and fruity aromas produced by the yeast and hops. De Koningshoeven Brewery is the first in the world to market a completely alcohol-free Trappist beer: La Trappe Nillis (0.0%). It is brewed according to authentic recipes, using sustainable raw materials and energy sources. Part of the proceeds goes to projects developed by the brothers of Our Lady of Koningshoeven Abbey in Uganda.
