Jopen Beautiful Nel - 33 CL

Jopen Northsea IPA is an IPA (India Pale Ale) or, in old Dutch, a 'Duraebel Scheepsbier'. These beers were brewed extra strong and extra hopped so that they could be taken on the long sea voyages to the Dutch East Indies (present-day Indonesia). Nowadays, this beer type is making a comeback as American brewers revive this brewing style. This hoppy amber beer is named after the lake between Spaarndam and Haarlem, the Beautiful Nel. After fermentation, the beer has been given an extra hop addition to the tank to give it a clear hop character. Silver medalist Brussels beer Challenge 2014.
