An exclusive blend of barrel-aged Golden Barleywine Ale 13th Anniversary Golden Barleywine Ale is matured in 8-13 year old Heaven Hill bourbon barrels and is a blend of 5, 7, 18, 20 and 28 month old golden barleywine ale from 5, 7, 18, 20 and 28 months old. 13th Anniversary Golden Barleywine Ale is a celebration of Fremont Brewing's golden anniversary and 13th anniversary. This blend is a ~new~ golden barley wine recipe, inspired by our Aurelius recipe. We blended a small component of aged barleywine, which accentuated the subtle flavors of vanilla, maple, honey, oak and leather through maturation in 8-13 year old Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Every sip is more special than the last.
