Lucky Blood Red 2019 - 75 CL

Kriek 2019 with Merlot grapes. During the 2019 cherry harvest, the brewers processed 3 different types of cherries. This blend mainly contains Noordkriek and a small amount of Kelleris. This from local growers in the Antwerp region, a fruit region that has almost completely disappeared but has recently seen some new initiatives. Maturation took place in ex-Burgundy and ex-Bordeaux barrels. The Merlot that the brewers used is the barrel-aged version of our Pet Bière 2019. After a period of 9 months in an ex-Burgundy and ex-lambic barrel. The name of this beer was chosen a few days before the sale, after a difficult period for many of us. 2020 will go down in history as a Blood Red/Jet Black year. And also a tribute to the healthcare sector that has given blood, sweat and tears.
